Good place to practice your mountain biking skills, with a lot of easy setups like logs and plank pyramids. Recommended before heading to the more difficult ones on North Shore.

One of the best dog walking parks. There is a dedicated off leash trail for dogs at the Mariner parking lot. It is a short little loop and great for a brief little walk for your dogs.

One of the nicest place I have ever been.

The only thing to keep any eye out is sometime during summer months as the weather gets extreme there are sometimes bear warnings as they come out in search of food. I have encountered several bears on the trail during the summer. However, there is usually ample notice of bear sightings usually from other walkers or posted warnings before you proceed.

If you bring your dogs earlier in the day, up to 10AM, the entire park is off leash and is usually very well attended with dog owners their canine companions. All the dogs that I've encountered at this park are well behaved and well socialized. It's rarely seen any dogs that are very aggressive here.
