    The stuff at the reception is friendly but zero support further. Not newbie friendly! There's 5 auto-belay choices and none of the routes can be called easy. I mean you're supposed to have at least a couple of options I can finish without special training. So all of them are upper intermediate or advanced. And since my last visit they made the routes even more challenging. Neither me or my son enjoyed it. Not coming back cause it's just a waste of money.

    Not a great place if you an intermediate top rope climber. Lots of space for bouldering and top rope. Good for kids.

    Great routes, terrific staff. We have been climbing at Base 5 for the last year and we have had always had a great experience. The courses are well run and the facility is kept clean (low chalk dust). This is a fantastic place for people to learn as well as challenge themselves on a large selection of routes / problems.
