  Last year we hired Troico to do a full home renovation on our main floor. The scope included kitchen, bathroom and living / dining room. We worked with their senior designer to get the floor plan that we wanted which included removing a large load bearing wall and opening up the entire main floor. We are in love with our new space, especially the kitchen. Their staff and trades did an amazing job - the quality is spoken about every time we entertain. Another important reason why we like Troico is their fixed pricing model allowed us to budget and get our financing prepared ahead of time and not stress about payments. All in all I would recommend anyone looking to do a renovation with Troico - especially the cabinetry - their quality is unsurpassed.

  I had heard a lot of horror stories about renovations and contractors, so when it came down to renovating my home, I decided to take my time and checked out a lot of companies. I came across Troico and liked what I saw. The prices were very high, but I thought it would be worth having a fixed price contract to stay within budget and for the quality of work it boosts. But boy, was I wrong! Hiring Troico was a big mistake and dealing with the management was an utter nightmare. Superficially things look good but it didn't pay attention to details. In fact, I still had to deal with problems from their reno almost a year later. We made the mistake of hiring Troico - but you don't have to. Don't waste your time and money on Troico.

  We went in to see the Troico showroom after a neighbour in our townhouse used them to renovate their kitchen. We were impressed with their process. Finding a Contractor that is fixed price is difficult and it’s a service that Troico offers. We were still curious about the process so we had them do design only first. We were so impressed with Kat the designer that worked with us. She helped us choose absolutely everything that we needed for the job. After we got the design completed the job was priced. It was 15K more than we wanted to spend – we ask Kat to help us reduce the costs by $7,500 to keep in our budget and she did. We were really overwhelmed with the entire process of having to move out of our house, but when construction started we were really happy to see that all the trades were so friendly and really knew what they were doing. Everyone was linked with an online system to give updates – which we received electronically. If we had questions they were answered fast through the system or our Project Manager. We love our main floor reno and all the work that Troico did. We are so happy with the outcome of it. We have parties now with 15-20 people and no longer feel cramped in the kitchen since the reno. When people come over they cannot believe our house. Thank you Troico for doing such a good job at our house.

  Troico has sub-contracted my company, Wicks Electric, on over 30 jobs and I have never been so impressed by a general contractor. Troico establishes long lasting relationships with all of their clients through transparency and honesty. They utilize today's technology with applications and programs to keep everyone informed on job-site progression, scheduling and change orders. Their entire staff and team are always on the same page and are always a pleasure to deal with.
