This is such a simple customer service issue to address and the fact that they don't care speaks volumes about their service.

There was a very long line to pay. I stood in the self service line for about 10 minutes and was just 3 people from the front of the line when they opened another 4 self checkouts beside me. By the time those of us at the front of our line noticed the newly opened checkouts, they were full with the people who were behind us and who did not have to wait.

Everybody likes a trip to Ikea, but if you have any mobility impairments this is one of the easiest stores to shop at. The handicapped washrooms are excellent, including a self opening door, an easy lock to use and even a call alarm. Everything was functional. When you are out with mobility issues every little detail is important. It also means that you can stay and shop longer because you don't have to go home when you need a washroom.

I must admit, sometimes I go to Ikea just for the food. They have a decent selection for a great price. It takes some time to park and get to the restaurant area, but if you're not in a rush I find it worth the hassle.

As for their merchandise, they are cheaper than most compatible products, but you get what you pay for. I'm not a big fan. If it were not for the restaurant ...

Lots of great selection at good prices. I love the Smaland childminding area which lets you drop off your kids for an hour while you shop. My daughter enjoys socializing and playing in the ball pit there. Best of all it's free and members get an extra half hour.

Many products are fine however I will never use their online delivery service again. Luckily I got all the pieces of my product, but was told I had to reschedule the delivery date various times due to them not having trucks available (when the date had been set a week in advance). Trying to ask about online orders by phone takes so long because you get transferred to about four different reps. The customer service reps were trying their best to be helpful but it was a bit if a round about way to find the right person to talk to who could help.
