  A word of advice, keep your pre-float shower on the cool side, take a warm one after your float. Floating is about sensory deprivation, the water in the unit is a standardized temp that allows you to not feel the water once settled(a key factor for me). A few friends, who were not paying attention in the intro, made the rookie mistake of taking their usual hot shower before the float, and then felt cold until they adjusted. If the float unit water is too warm it is distracting, this team has it set perfectly, they have it at this temp for a reason. Combine the high buoyancy salt water, with darkness, earplugs, and breathing, you are able to feel like you are literally floating in the silent darkness of space, the only sound is your breathing, and heartbeat.

  I purchased two floats for my husband and father in law for father's day. I was told by the lady at the counter they cannot put the amount on a gift card because it was a special pricing they were offering which seemed odd but I didn't question it. My husband booked his float week and brought the receipt from my purchase and was accused of trying to scam them and was almost turned away. What was supposed to be a nice relaxing experience turned into a unnecessary debacle. Very disappointing.

  I feel like I should weigh in a bit, I have only been floating just over a year, for medical reasons, with excellent results, but feel like I could pass along a little advice. Be reasonable with your expectations, this is a great space with kind folks working there, treat them well, listen to their advice, and enjoy your float...

  Floating for me has been some of my greatest meditations, and a great way to contemplate projects or ideas, I leave feeling blissful, and relaxed. Think of floating as a tool in your life, your personal escape, and the staff are there to help, but you create and evolve your own inner experience.

  Great place to relax. Used a groupon twice for my wife and I. Tempting atmostphere for couples but in the end you literally get burned. Best just to sleep and zone out. It is a must try kind of place. Great service as well. A little pricey. Would not go unless Groupon was used.

  Perhaps some people are expecting some luxury spa experience, when it's a "float", not a seaweed mud wrap with someone constantly offering champagne and caviar... Realistically you are paying for a float session, and access to a room for your scheduled time not a pampering session. Those who have been floating a while become efficient, get in quickly, try not to make a huge mess, don't need to use a bunch of towels, exit the room on time or early, keep quiet, considering others may be floating, thank the staff for such a great space, and leave to enjoy the rest of their day.
