Forest, marsh and rocky outcrops make this regional park a gem to explore any time of year. The network of quiet trails are great places to hike and watch for wildlife. It is also home to Minnekhada Lodge, a 1930s country estate with spectacular views of the Pitt River.

Beautiful, quiet park in the corner of Coquitlam circling a marsh with trails running through deciduous and coniferous forest. The various lookouts make for great picnic spots, but be bear aware. We crossed paths with a mother bear and her cubs foraging for berries. A great wilderness experience for people of all fitness levels.

Even for a damp and foggy day, had a great walk.
